About Remote-Controlled Sockets, Set of Three
Three mains sockets you switch from a distance with one small remote. Plug a lamp, a fan or a heater into a socket, push the socket into the wall and press the numbered button on the remote to turn that device on or off from the sofa or the next room.
The remote talks to the sockets by radio rather than infrared, so no line of sight is needed. It has an on and an off button for each socket and a master off for all three.

My mother has trouble reaching the plug behind the sofa, so these are a big help. Setup took a minute and the buttons on the remote are big and clear.

Works well. Through two walls the range is about half of what I hoped for, but inside the flat it is fine. They are chunky, so one blocks its neighbour on my power strip.

Thanks Branko. The range figure is for open space and is lower through walls, as the specification table says.
